Owning, caring and loving a feline or canine friend is most rewarding and they truly become a part of our family. Here at Bark Avenue your beloved "furry" family member will be treated as if they were one of our own. Of utmost importance to us is the bond of trust that we strive to develop and nurture with each individual pet that is left in our care. With trust comes a sense of security, which will allow your pet to have a more enjoyable and unique pet care experience. Every pet is important to us and we look forward to being their canine or feline stylist for years to come.

Being away from family and home can make the day a stressful one. With that in mind, Bark Avenue introduced the first "low stress, controlled, cage less environment" in our area 19 years ago and continues to use this method of containment with fabulous results. Because we do not cage dogs, but instead, operate as an open concept salon, their day with us is indeed, a "new experience in pet care" and quite different then other grooming establishments they may have visited. You may rest assured that your "baby" will NEVER be left alone or behind closed doors. Instead, they will spend the day making new friends, meeting up with old pals, watching others being groomed, lounging on the "runway" or sitting in a comfy chair. They may even take a moment to watch TV if something catches their interest. Our highly qualified and caring pet specialists will be close by at all times should someone need a comforting word or a gentle reassuring pat on the head.

We pride ourselves in having a white glove reputation when it comes to cleanliness. All surfaces, grooming and bathing equipment are disinfected and kept in top operating condition for the safety and well being of your pet. Our facility and grounds are maintained on a monthly basis by City Pest Control to insure that we do all we can to give your pet a pest free environment.

Your pets' health is important to us here at Bark Avenue. We strictly enforce our HEALTHY PET POLICY, and WILL NOT accept a dog or cat into the salon if we do not have verification of up to date vaccinations including Bordetella. By having this policy in place, Bark Avenue is taking a preventative measure to insure your pets' well being. All pet specialists are certified in Animal CPR and Emergency First Aid. You can rest assured, knowing Bark Avenue has a procedure in place in the rare event of an emergency. So, you too, can have a less stressful day knowing your "baby" is in the best of hands.
